The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

UDON designs Kidrobot x Street Fighter vinyl figs!

Designer toy maker Kidrobot has just announced their new line of collectible Street Fighter vinyl figures, which will join their already popular Simpsons, Futurama, and Family Guy lines. The entire line was designed by UDON's own Jeffrey "Chamba" Cruz! (Street Fighter II Turbo, RandomVeus)

From what I've been hearing is you haven't got any credit for these? Is that true???

It was a work for hire job so it is up to Kidrobot if they want to credit UDON or Chamba. But it's not like they are trying to hide it. I don't think they've ever put the specific artist names on their other lines like Simpsons or Futurama either.

That is true now that I think of it, the only person I ever see get real credit in their brand is Kozik and that's only because he has like his own line of toys in their company. Still would've been nice to maybe see a little credit maybe on the website at least.

I'd buy Sakura, Cody and Abel in a heartbeat.

BUT THEY HAVE ALPHA CHUN! That's the best Chun-li of any of the series. I do fear there are no M. Bison figure tho :/
